Professional psychotherapists by day, the group has been performing together as a comedy improv troupe since 2013, and recently headlined the National Psych Congress in San Antonio, Texas. Their revue Phobia Shmobia won a standing ovation at the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and they brought down the house at the International Society for the Study of Self Injury, where they performed at the happy hour. The group has performed at venues all across the Chicago area, including Second City, Stage 773, the Bughouse Theater, the Conservatory, the Skokie Theatre, the Open Door Theater, the Den Theatre, Comedy Sportz, Theater Above the Law, and many more. - There may be an additional charge at the door for some performances, so why not purchase your tickets online?
- No drink minimums!
- Online ticket sales close 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. After that time, tickets can be purchased at the box office, if available.
- The Bit is an 18+ club, although younger, accompanied guests are welcome. Though we generally hover around a PG-13 rating, please be advised that most of our content is improvised and set your expectations accordingly.
- All shows at The Bit are conducted in accordance with current government guidelines regarding COVID-19.
- Doors and bar open one hour prior to showtime for most shows. Please check the show description for exceptions.
- Out of respect for other show guests, please arrive at the theater no later than 15 minutes prior to showtime.
