How many psychotherapists does it take to make a crowd laugh? Come find out when the Therapy Players return to the Bit Theater!

Professional psychotherapists by day, the group has been performing together as a comedy improv troupe since 2013. Their revue "Phobia Shmobia" won a standing ovation at the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and they brought down the house at the International Society for the Study of Self Injury, where they performed at the happy hour. The group has performed at venues all across the Chicago area, including Second City, Stage 773, the Bughouse Theater, the Cornservatory, the Skokie Theatre, and many more. Doors and bar open one hour prior to showtime for most shows. Please check the show description for exceptions. Out of respect for other show guests, please arrive at the theater no later than 15 minutes prior to showtime. The doors may be closed to late arrivals.
Online ticket sales close ~30 minutes prior to the start of the show. After that time, tickets can be purchased at the box office, if available.
Your tickets are general admission, and it's first-come, first-seated. Don't hesitate to contact us for reservations, particularly if you have a larger group.
We understand that comedy--particularly improv--is subjective. We're confident in our performers and the shows that we're producing, so if you don't have a good time at a show, email us with your ticket number, and we'll provide a FULL REFUND.

No drink minimums!
The Bit is an 18+ club, although younger, accompanied guests are welcome. Though we generally hover around a PG-13 rating, please be advised that most of our content is improvised and set your expectations accordingly.
