This seminar is APPROVED for 1.5 hours of Illinois MCLE credit, and is APPROVED for 1.5 hours of Illinois PMCLE credit. This seminar will teach you the fundamentals of improvisation and how to apply those fundamentals to the successful practice of law. Improvising is all about learning the same skills that can help a lawyer at any level of practice to be a better client advocate. Improvisation will help you to:

Several faculty members at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law swear by
the study of improv furthering their careers. And it’s a heck of a lot more fun than another PowerPoint presentation.
This seminar is led by
Michael Bradt, a former high school teacher and practicing real estate attorney who has been licensed in Illinois since 2005. Throughout his career, he has advocated successfully for his clients while utilizing the improv skills he has honed for nearly two and a half decades.
This is an interactive presentation. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the various improv exercises and activities we will be undertaking. There is not a strenuous degree of physical activity required, but participants will be encouraged to participate in mildly physical activities.
